Meet Milo. He's going to change the world.
He's already changed ours.
Milo Henry Marston
May 16, 2008 at 11:03 a.m.
6 pounds, 15 ounces
20 inches long
He arrived on the fast-track delivery plan. Amanda
started having contractions around 3:30 a.m., which were
initially confused with the after effects of Burrito Loco. We
got to the hospital at 7:30, and things progressed very
quickly. Milo had clearly decided that today was the day,
unconstrained by his original due date of May 28 and the May 20
date that had been scheduled for the C-section.
Amanda is doing well. According to the triage nurse,
she has a remarkably high tolerance for pain.
Milo's got a thick head of dark hair and baby Elvis
sideburns. He's got Amanda's long monkey toes. He can
cry, he can eat, he can sleep and he can suck his thumb. He'll
probably be solving multivariate equations by tomorrow.
