MiloMarston.com was created to answer the question "How's Milo?".

It's a baby blog, both in the sense of being about a baby and being small — one photo, one text nugget of 140 characters or less, and some links.

The photo is posted on Flickr. After setting the unique photo ID in a PHP script, the date the photo was taken (based on the EXIF data) is displayed automatically using the Flickr API. Milo's age on the date the photo was taken is calculated using PHP. The "Milo says ..." text is fed in from Twitter in JSON format. The tweet can be easily updated from a mobile phone. The links are displayed using DHTML.

I like sites that look simple but have more going on under the hood. Less is more.
